That's a shame. I thought it was a very entertaining and well-written piece of satire.
I saw the original author of the article actually left a comment several years after its published date to dispel the haters and inform them that it was in fact meant for humor and not to be taken seriously.
I guess it's a bit of a testament to the writer's ability if the masses aren't able to distinguish sarcastic humor from a factual claim.
